Bloggers are the Nicest People ...

I sent Cindy a tea cozy a while back; she had commented that she really liked it so after e-mailing back and forth, I made her one in her colours.

Here it is looking right at home in her gorgeous kitchen!  Go here for the complete story.

To recap, bloggers are the best!!!

That is so sweet! Yes, I've met a lot of nice people since I started blogging. I'm still quite a newbie (not quite a year). Sue, I just wanted to thank you for putting up some pictures of your garden! I had asked you about your garden last year and I just now noticed you had posted some gorgeous flowers right after and I didn't see them. Your home is so pretty. I think I need to lighten up my colors soon (I've resisted because I usually don't like to follow trends). My living room is WAY too dark now. I also wanted to mention that I love your banner. Nothing says charming like a white picket fence with fabulous pink roses! Have a great day!

Yes, I agree! I would have never believed I could feel such a connection with a group of people I have never met. I would put you at the top of the "best" list. Bonnie

Bloggers are the greatest. No doubt about it. I love the candy cane colors in the tea cozy you made for Cindy. PERFECTLY delightful.

Sue, I know this is off topic but i wanted to comment on your garden. I thought the roses on your banner might be Zepherine Drouhin and I was right (found it in another posting). Your roses are gorgeous! I have 2 Zehp's (one on each side of my arbor). They are gorgeous, have such a sweet scent. Mine don't have a lot of repeat bloom. What is your secret?

I also love hydrangea. I had a few morning glories but they started taking over my garden so I'm still trying to get rid of them. Oh, it's cold in Michigan and I'm dreaming about gardening.

Sandy, I don't know that I have a secret for repeat blooms. I feed them in the spring and they are in full sun. They bloom like crazy; maybe just dumb luck, lol!

I'm dreaming of playing in the dirt too!!!

Sue, You just mentioned the difference between your Zeph and mine, full sun.. Mine get full sun only part of the day. I should move them but I'm afraid they might not survive. My late mother bought both bushes for me and the arbor that they are on.

I know what you mean about dumb luck. That's the way it is with gardening sometimes. Your crochet projects are really nice!

Sandy, I wouldn`t move them either. Maybe you could buy another plant and put it in full sun. I`m getting a few more this spring.
