Ta-dah!

Good Sunday morning to all my buddies out there!

Well, I finally found a crochet pattern for a tea cozy that is adorable AND functional.  I Started working on it last night and finished it this morning.

The instructions were a little confusing but I was determined, so after a few false starts ...

Here it is!

I have seven tea pots and it fits all but one.  I may make some modifications and attempt a larger one for my 12 cup tea pot.  The possibilities are endless; I may make one for each, all in different colours!!!!

I`m crazy about this little topper!

Have a great day!

I drink tea and have never heard of a Tea Cozy. What a clever idea. Neat you might make more in different colors to go with all your teapots. GREAT project. Looks terrific. You did a fine job. Take care.

Hi Sue, your tea cozy is cute. I haven't attempted one of those yet. Sometimes patterns leave me confused. The dishcloth is very simple -- not sure of the name of the stitch, but chain 40 then in 4th chain from hook do a dc/2 chs/1 sc -- skip three and in next chain do 2 dc/2chs/1 sc ... all the way across. At the end you chain two and turn and just keep doing the same thing, working through the chain loops, back and forth for about 18 rows. :) Hope that makes sense. Have a great week. Tammy
