It`s a Party!

Vicki at 2 Bags Full is hosting a Grow Your Blog Party
and we`re all invited!

I wrote my very first post July 9, 2010
before that I ``visited`` a few favourites leaving a comment or two
from time to time

This is me:

I live with my husband of 35 years ...

and my best buddy, Ben

I have many interests which I have happily and oh, so passionately shared with you
(I can be quite the drama queen at times)

They are, in no particular order, writing, reading, gardening, home decor, crochet, thrifting, and old stuff
I can`t be surrounded by enough beautiful old things!
Oh, and I love, love, love roses

I`m vegan

For the past 4 years, I have lived in a tiny fixer in Ontario, Canada
It`s been a fantastic experience

I love my little BB

I became a granny in 2010

Oh, and did I mention how much I love blogging?
and how your visits and comments make my day?
to thank you
I will be giving away this tea cozy
made by me
with love

between now and the 1st. of February

a winner will be chosen from the comments
left on this post

thank YOU my friends
for visiting!

 and thank you, Vicki

 for hosting this shindig!

Hi Sue, I'm coming over from Vicki's party and I'm happy to meet you. First of all, can I please come and live in your header??? It is such a pretty and peaceful picture! I am looking forward to hearing about your house. When (or IF--we have 2 kids in college) my husband retires we will either buy a cute house to work on or just hit the road and see North America! Have a wonderful day. Linda

Hi, so nice to meet you!
You have a sweet cottage with beautiful flowers.
Also your buddie Ben is adorable, as are the g'children.
Did you crochet your tea cozy your self? You must be a seasoned crocheter-it's lovely!
I'll be back to visit again!

How nice to meet and your beach home. I love the beach and can't imagine just how wonderful it is to live by the beach.

I would love to be included in your give away for a tea cosy. So very cute.

I am making something for my give away. It is a hand woven scarf in shades of deep purple. I would love for you to visit.

Hello my fellow Canadian blogger, I'm hopping over from the GYB hop. Congratulations on your two beautiful grandbabies; I have two as well and I love LOVE roses too. It's all I can do to stop myself from saving all the roses in late summer from those stores that should be not be allowed to sell roses...like Wal-Mart. I've followed now so I'll see you soon. :)

I just popped over for a visit from Vicki's party. I like your blog! Your dog is adorable. I love your table transformation. I recently re-did a dresser into a buffet. It's so exciting to breathe new life into an old piece of furniture. And, the little price compared to new furniture is great! Old furniture has so much more character too. I'm a crocheter too. Your crocheted tea cozy is adorable. I love to crochet, knit, weave, spin and much more. I hope you can stop by for a visit sometime. :-)

I missed this post. I must say, you are looking better than ever and I just love that shorter haircut. Everyone keeps telling me to keep mine long but now I'm thinking I should go back to a medium shag. I hope that you are doing lots of crocheting during the cold winter months. That teapot cozy is so pretty -- and is on my list of things to make one of these days. I love your little house. Just the perfect size I think! Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Tammy
